Harbor & Heirloom

Bainbridge Island, Washington

Treasures,
passed along.

A consignment shop a short walk up from the ferry dock, full of furniture, lighting, and small wonders with lives already lived in them. Every piece is one of one — and once it’s gone, it’s gone.

The shop's bay window framing the ferry harbor at golden hour, with a walnut credenza and a glowing amber lamp on the floor

pieces rehomed since 2017

Every settee resold and lamp rewired is one less thing in a landfill and one less thing manufactured new. We think the greenest piece of furniture is the one that already exists — so we keep good things in circulation, one ferry-town find at a time.

For sellers

Consigning is simpler than a yard sale

Downsizing, settling an estate, or just ready to let a good piece go? Here’s how it works, start to finish.

  1. Bring it by the harbor

Email us a few photos or carry it down to the shop on Bjune Drive. We look at furniture, lighting, art, jewelry, glassware — anything with a story still in it.

  2. We price it, stage it, sell it

We research, photograph, and write up each piece, then place it on the floor and online. You keep 60% of the final sale; we handle everything in between.

  3. It finds its next home

When a piece sells, we cut your check the following week. Nothing moves you don't approve, and unsold goods come home whenever you like.

From our neighbors

Word travels on a small island

I came in for a lamp and left with a credenza I'd been picturing for ten years. They'd tracked down the name of the family that originally owned it — that's the kind of place this is.
Margaret Ohlsen · Winslow
We consigned my mother's whole dining set after she downsized. Karen treated every piece like it mattered, and it all sold within a month. The check came exactly when they said it would.
Daniel Reyes · Eagle Harbor
I get off the 4:40 ferry and stop in most Fridays just to see what's new. Found a Fire-King creamer last week that matched my grandmother's set perfectly. The thrill of the find is real here.
